How Long Can You Freeze Olive Oil?

Olive oil can be frozen for as long as 12 to 18 months. Scientists have found that freezing olive oil improves its fragrance. Once you defrost and thaw olive oil, its shelf life is good only for a few days. It will remain fresh for 3 to 4 days, after which it goes rancid.
